About Emily LeMire

A Licensed Real Estate Broker, Certified Negotiation Specialist, and Founding Member of The Smart LeMire Group, Emily is an award-winning industry professional who has sold all types of real estate throughout every corner of the Chicago market since 2005. From the city to the suburbs, she and her team, also comprised of her sister Lydia Smart Fields and father Baird Smart, provide outstanding service and results to buyers and sellers, whether they are natives or new to the area. Her passion for Chicago, where she has lived for 15+ years, continually inspires Emily to stay on the pulse of evolving trends and strengthens her extensive knowledge of the different neighborhoods. She and The Smart LeMire Group specialize in Lincoln Park, Lakeview, Bucktown, Wicker Park, and other parts of the city as well as the North Shore, particularly the New Trier school district. While these living destinations are very different, the team weaves their experience together seamlessly and are experts in both worlds.

Completely invested in her clients’ needs and best interests, Emily has enjoyed such a successful business because she believes that hard work pays off, and kindness always wins. Each client and transaction has her full attention and is of utmost importance to her, as she deeply cares about the process and the outcome for all involved. Thoroughly educating buyers and sellers and making herself available at all times is essential to helping them make smart decisions and feel supported every step of the way. Born in Santa Monica, California, Emily moved with her parents to their hometowns on the North Shore of Chicago and was raised in the nearby suburb of Winnetka, Illinois. She graduated from the University of Colorado, Boulder with a Business degree and minor in Real Estate Studies, and went straight into residential real estate.

Currently living in Northfield, IL with her husband and two children, Emily previously called Lincoln Park home for a decade. She has renovated her personal homes which have satisfied her love of architecture and design, and she is able to pass this insight on to her clients. Outside of work, Emily is actively involved in her kids’ schools. Family time is her favorite time, no matter what it is they’re doing!
